A Web Site for Political Independents
Yes. You don't need to change the world, just improve your little part of it. You have a representative in the House of Representatives, called a Congressman (Congresswoman) as well as a Senator. Find out who they are. Check out their records. Do they vote the way you think someone should that puts America as their first priority?
Be sure to check our page: Politician Watch - there are some important law votes - check to see how your rep did if they are in there.
Keep track of their decisions. Write to them and let them know what you care about. If you feel they just don't care, remember it all at election time.
You're going to feel better and we'll all eventually get better!
Go on...Give 'em hell when they don't do their jobs.

This page will help you find out who your reps are. Pardon the bias, but we promote unity here anyway. You'll get used to it.
Then check them out at project vote-smart. A great project that deserves support.

In depth information for smart folks.
informative in spite of the odd name.

The links to the left here are some of my favorite places when I need info about my reps.
Just be careful. Not every page or blog that claims to be knowledgable is. As often as not, they may be trying to influence your vote with inadequate information.
Think for yourself. Don't let someone else do it for you.
