A Web Site for Political Independents

Dear President Obama,
What nags at me about the current economic crisis is the lack of justice in it. In the last few years, laws have changed and ordinary citizens routinely have their assets seized. A girl is caught selling a joint and the grandmother she lives with has her property seized under drug dealer laws. A Mexican immigrant has huge amounts of money taken out of his check because his ex-wife gets medical aid benefits for their kids.
Yet, lenders have conducted themselves with morals that insult loan sharks when compared with them – but there is no sign of any penalty in sight. In fact, it seems they are being rewarded for it.
How does this fit into the mindset of the proud American that didn't participate in this so-called party everyone but them appears to have been invited to?
Are there any plans to get any of the money reaped through enormous profits back? Are off-shore accounts being looked into?
Why is a corrupt Congress still in place? They changed the laws to create a predictable result. (See Finland – Sweden - financial crisis) Where's Waldo? Where's ex-Senator Gramm?
At the same time, the nation's top lawman - the Attorney General rambles on about an archaic attitude of racism that borders on incomprehensible.
Mr. President,
We're fired up. Now when are you going to be ready to go and get some of this money back the right way?
