Painful Pundits and Straining Strategists

            Am I alone in thinking that of all Political Pundits aka "Strategists" – maybe about four percent actually know what they're talking about? The rest are little more than bored wealthy housewives and used car salespeople? Geez, go wash off that high gloss, will ya? Why do so many of these guys seem like they've been dipped in some kind of polymer?

            Does it make you angry when they spout off with no more character than a twelve year boy reading aloud in history class?

            Does it irritate you when they cannot be bothered to do their homework? Does getting a stream of "most likely" – "appears to be" – instead of actual information  insult you?

            They all need to take a page from Kirsten Powers, a democratic strategist that once was among the most irritating – Something happened to Kirsten that caused her to make changes that have helped her evolve into a well-informed, balanced political party reporter.

            We noticed, Kirsten. Brilliant. Keep it up. You are the proverbial breath of fresh air.
