(We don't take them lightly, so there aren't many.)

• We will strive to give our readers the most honest and accurate information we are capable of.

• We will be equal opportunity attackers and defenders.

• When we make mistakes, we will correct them.

• We will never alter information in order to unduly influence public opinion – Nor will we screen information because we are afraid of being offensive. We take pride in being willing to be offensive when it's necessary. Destructive political correctness is politically incorrect here.

• If we criticize someone, we will allow them to respond.

• We will remember that the average person is tired, overworked and has better things to do than be a lie detector – thus no space shall be allowed for public venting and "more mouth than information" opinions.

• We will strive to be balanced. Angry reports will be followed up with calm, logical information.

• Subject to space and time limits, we will give intelligent, well-informed people with suggestions to improve our country a voice.

• When we see nothing that merits discussion, we will shut up.
