Your REAL Privacy Concerns
In spite of the publicity against it, many of us were in favor of the FISA bill. We are well aware that the nation's borders and questionable immigration decisions make it highly probable that our enemies have people living within our borders. That's not meant as criticism (exactly), it's a big country.
Many of us want to be protected from these n'er do wells and understand that monitoring by our security agencies is one of the reasons we have them.
Additionally, we are not so naïve to think that there aren't Americans that would consider compromising us all for the right price. If ever we believed that, seeing what big business and congress are up to lately would convince us.
Yes. Security is good.

How do you feel about nationalized electronic medical records? This one is complex but worth looking into. When doing so, remember Terri Schiavo and "Bioethics". 'Nuff said.
How do you feel about your prescription data being sold for "marketing purposes"?
Would you trust your reps to use the law to protect you against those that would use DNA in order to determine your status as it relates to health insurance? Borrowing money?
Yeah. Some uneasy issues here. Best get on it. There's already more going on than you think.
